Here are a couple of sketches I have done of my father over the weekend. It took about two hours apiece and I used a pencil then changed the color in Photoshop. I just wanted to keep the images as raw as I drew them. I have been wanting to do something with the images for awhile and over the weekend I just got after it and got it done.
The first sketch is of Dad when he was a young lad living in Oklahoma and the other one is of him when he was in WWII stationed in Germany. Dad went on to serve a tour in the Korean War also then he retired to Oklahoma to work as a house painter and live out a peaceful life hunting and fishing.
