Did some work for my friend Peter - The Lucha Libre, Peter went to Mexico City and saw them wrestle and wanted some art work to remind him of his trip. Made the frames from recycled cardboard and used old packing paper.

I did a redecorating project this weekend! I have this large wall in my kitchen that needed a larger scale piece of art and so I came up with this. The wall was so bright and large and it was just too bare, I got this calendar of prints(13), made the frames black to anchor and balance the whole kitchen. I have since moved the three on the wall next to the french doors - the light switch was messing with the spacing and it was bugging me so I just centered one print and put the other two on the other side of the doors. I think it turned out nice and I wanted to show you all how it turned out. I am posting before and after photos to give you an idea of what I am talking about. Thanks Margie for the prints - you are a good friend.

The beautiful Hugo lake in Hugo Oklahoma. I was in Hugo shooting the wedding of Leslie and Jeremy Price and the wedding was on the lake - awesome. I did a lot of scenic shots for them to remind them of how beautiful the whole weekend was. ENJOY!!!

I just want to say thanks to all of the men & women who serve and who have served this great country. Mostly I would like to thank all of the families who has someone serving because they are the one's who really sacrifice. I want to post my thanks and a picture I love, it is from the great Norman Rockwell the greatest illustrator I think. I love this picture because Norman captures the life of this solider and the humor is great too. ENJOY!!!

I was thinking the other day and I had a brain fart. I said to self, self if pigs were to fly they would take Pork Air!
I have this handmade paper my brother Al gave me that he got in South Korea and it has the pulp and fiber and the brown in it that I like. The only thing is that it is handmade and the paper does not take to erasing pencil marks, if you are not careful you can erase a hole right into the paper. The ink bleeds a lot and that is cool with me because I like the roughness the overall piece has. It took a couple of days and I used Sharpies for the line work and color. 25" x 18" ENJOY!!!

Here is a landscape sculpture I created from the logs and sticks that the kids throw into the creeks that run below the local park. I just wanted to create something for them and cleanup the creeks too. I called it The Gate because this was built on one of the trails that the kids use to get into the woods and creek, it stands over 8ft. tall and I left a crawl space for them to go through. Now the kids will likely tear it down and throw it back into the creeks or they will actually interact with the piece and enjoy it. It only took about 45 minutes to make and that is why it looks so rough. I have not done this kind of piece since I was in high school but it sure is fun. Maybe more works soon? ENJOY!!!

I found a scrap of chip board I had for my canvas, did the pen and ink drawing, painted it using watercolors and gouache, button sewn it with twine onto a scrap of white cardboard(21.5 x 26) All in one day! ENJOY!!!
